39 people were killed in a terrible plane crash in Azerbaijan, while 29 others were hospitalized with various ailments. A local airline’s passenger plane crashed close to Baku’s outskirts late yesterday, causing a terrible event.

The cause of the crash is being investigated immediately by authorities. According to early reports, the pilots attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft had serious mechanical issues soon after takeoff. Sadly, the maneuver was unsuccessful, and the impact was disastrous.

When the jet struck the ground, it was enveloped in flames, according to eyewitnesses who recounted the terrifying spectacle. As emergency personnel raced to the scene, they fought the fire and pulled people from the debris. Many of the injured passengers are still in severe condition after being sent to local hospitals.

The president of Azerbaijan has declared a national day of mourning in remembrance of the deaths and offered his sympathies to their families. He declared, “This is a dark day for our nation,” and promised that the government will carry out a comprehensive inquiry to identify the cause of the disaster and stop it from happening again.

Experts in aviation are concentrating on the aircraft’s maintenance history and possibly human mistake as potential causes. The concerned airline, whose identity has not been made public, has halted all flights until it conducts additional investigation.

One of the deadliest aircraft accidents in Azerbaijan’s history, the tragedy rocked the country and sparked a renewed conversation about air safety procedures. The world community has offered the country its support and solidarity at this trying period.
