The New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth organisers and their deputies across constituencies in the country, have given their firm endorsement and support to former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the NPP for the 2028 Elections.

The youth organisers, numbering nearly 500 (out of the 552 youth orgaisers), on Wednesday August 13, 2025, picked NPP Presidential Primaries nomination forms for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and handed it over to him in his office, in a symbolic move to firmly demonstrate their belief in him.

Speaking to the media at the party headquarters in Accra, where they picked the forms, the youth organisers explained why they support Bawumia and gave four key reasons: “His unifying trait, experience, credibility and incorruptibility.”

“We are here today to pick the form for our incoming president Dr Alhaji Mahamhudu Bawumia . We believe this is a gift to him. The only one we see as a unifier in the party,” they said.

“The only leader we believe is credible and has no iota of corruption associated with him is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“The only person that has gathered the experience over the years, from 2008 until now, as a former Vice-presidential candidate and later becoming the former vice president of Ghana is Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.”

I was sabotaged by NPP gurus for my presidential ambition – Mireku Duker

“And we believe strongly that the youth of Ghana from our polling stations, from our party faithful; from polling stations, from electoral areas, from constituencies and to national and the person every Ghanaian is waiting for to be elected brother new patriotic party is Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.”
