    It was a quiet weekend for Ghanaian players plying their trades abroad, with just a handful scoring for their respective clubs.

    Thomas Partey was the only Ghanaian player in the top five European League to score a goal during the weekend. He scored his fourth goal of the season in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Brentford in the English Premier League.

    Emmanuel Toku scored for AEL Limassol in their 3-1 win over Nea Salamis in the Cyprus league.

    Sharani Zuberu was on the score sheet for Slovan Bratislava in their 2-2 draw against Dun Streda.

    Clinton Duodu scored for Apollon Limassol despite their 2-1 defeat to Aris in the Cyprus top-flight league.

    Caleb Yirenkyi scored for Nordsjaelland in their 5-2 win over Randers FC in the Danish league.

    Kwaku Osei scored for Spartak Subotica in their 4-2 win over IMT Novi Beograd in the Serbian top-flight league.

    Emmanuel Boateng scored for Gaziantep in their 2-1 win over Hatayspor in the Turkish Super League.

    ENGLAND

    In the Premier League, Thomas Partey scored his fourth goal of the season in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Brentford.

    Kamaldeen Sulemana lasted 61 minutes in the game for Southampton in their 3-0 loss to Aston Villa.

    Mohammed Kudus played 90 minutes for West Ham in their 2-1 away defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

    In the Championship, Abdul Samed Salis saw 15 minutes of action for Sunderland against Swansea which ended in a draw.

    In League One, Ghanaian duo Kelvin Abrefa and Andy Yiadom were involved in Reading’s game against Northampton which ended in a draw.

    Tarique Fosu came on as a substitute to play 23 minutes for Northampton.

    Ghanaian forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scores in Sheffield United’s defeat to Plymouth Argyle.

    SPAIN

    In La Liga, Inaki Williams saw 32 minutes of action for Athletico Bilbao in their 3-1 win over Rayo Vallecano.

    ITALY

    In Serie A, Caleb Ekuban saw 29 minutes of action for Genoa against Verona which ended in a draw.

    FRANCE

    In Ligue 1, Mohammed Salisu made a brief appearance for Monaco in their 3-0 win over Marseille.

    Andre Ayew saw 65 minutes of action for Le Havre in their 5-1 loss to Rennes.

    Gideon Mensah saw 71 minutes of action for Auxerre in their 3-1 loss to Lyon.

    GERMANY

    In Bundesliga II, Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer saw 45 minutes of action for Hmaburg in their 4-2 loss to Braunschweig.

    ALBANIA

    Mohammed Yahaya saw 23 minutes of action for KF Egnatia in their 1-0 loss to Partizani.

    Ghanaian duo Bismark Charles and Randy Dwumfour were involved in Skenderbeu Korca 1-1 draw against KF Tirana.

    AUSTRIA

    Edmund Baidoo saw 15 minutes of action for Salzburg in their 2-1 loss to Sturm Graz.

    AZERBAIJAN

    Emmanuel Addai was in action for Qarabag in their 4-1 win over Sabail.

    BELGIUM

    In the Jupiler Pro League, Lawrence Agyekum was involved in Cercle Brugge’s 3-1 loss to St.Truiden.

    Majeed Ashimeru saw six minutes of action for Anderlecht in their 2-0 loss to Royale Union SG.

    Richmond Boakye Yiadom climbed off the bench to play eight minutes for Sloga Doboj in their 1-0 defeat to Igman K.

    Emmanuel Toku scored for AEL Limassol in their 3-1 win over Nea Salamis.
