Millions of Aussies are scrambling to find their tickets in the hope of a lifechanging windfall after the numbers for Tuesday night’s record $100m Oz Lotto jackpot were drawn.

Up to a third of Australian adults were expected to buy a ticket for the biggest-ever jackpot in Oz Lotto’s history.

The jackpot has failed to go off for the last seven weeks.

The winning numbers for draw 1616 were 3, 34, 35, 26, 44, 39 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 5, 45 and 6.

A single entrant from NSW has scooped the entire jackpot.

It’s not yet known whether the winning ticket belonged to one person or a syndicate.

If a single person has taken home the jackpot, they will become the biggest Oz Lotto winner in the game’s 31-year history and Australia’s third-largest lottery winner ever.

It’s been 12 years since the last $100 million Oz Lotto jackpot, which was shared by four division one entries across Victoria, NSW, and Queensland.

Up to a third of Aussie adults were expected to buy a ticket for Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw

‘The last time Oz Lotto offered a jackpot of this magnitude was over a decade ago in November 2012,’ The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said.

‘A $100million prize could mean early retirement, a new home, jetting off on an around-the-world adventure, or helping family and friends in ways you never imagined.’

Another 26 winners pocketed a $59,597.70 windfall in division two while 362 division three winners will each take home $5,058.75.

An Adelaide man became Australia’s largest-ever individual lottery winner last May, when he claimed the $150million Powerball prize.

It was the third-largest lottery prize in Australian history, behind a $200million Powerball win shared between two people in February and a $160million jackpot in 2022 split between three ticket holders.

Millions of Aussies are also expected to buy a ticket for this Thursday night’s $60m Powerball draw after it failed to go off for a fourth consecutive week.

The winning numbers for draw 1616 were 3, 34, 35, 26, 44, 39 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 5, 45 and 6.
