Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has visited Leicester City duo Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku as part of his ongoing preparations ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Both players have been influential for the Foxes this season in the English SkyBet Championship. Issahaku has scored five goals and supplied seven assists in 24 league appearances, while Ayew has also found the net five times, contributing three assists over the same period.
Leicester City are set to face league leaders Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena this weekend, with both players expected to feature.
Addo’s visits are part of a wider effort to build team cohesion and instil a strong culture within the Black Stars.
He has previously met with Abdul Mumin, Mohammed Kudus, Kwasi Sibo, Ernest Nuamah, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Mohammed Salisu as part of this initiative.
Ghana will regroup on March 30 for a friendly against Germany in Stuttgart, ahead of Addo’s announcement of the final World Cup squad on June 1.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
