Ghana Black Stars coach Otto Addo has made a personal visit to striker Brandon Thomas-Asante as part of his ongoing World Cup preparations.

Thomas-Asante, who plays for Coventry City in the English Sky Bet Championship, has been sidelined since sustaining an injury against Middlesbrough in November.

Before the setback, he had been in outstanding form, netting 10 goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances.

Addo’s visit is part of a wider effort to foster team cohesion and morale, following similar trips to players including Abdul Mumin, Mohammed Kudus, Kwasi Sibo, Ernest Nuamah, and Mohammed Salisu.

The Black Stars are set to reconvene on March 30 for a friendly against Germany in Stuttgart.

Coach Addo is expected to name his final World Cup squad on June 1. Ghana will compete in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
