Nana Poku Ashis has declared Black Sherif as the future of the next generation.

Speaking on Hitz FM on January 12, 2026, the artiste manager noted that Blacko has come to stay and will be the face of the next generation.

Nana Poku Ashis commended the artiste and said the next generation of artistes will have to do a lot of work to catch up with Black Sherif.

He also praised the success of the Zaama Disco concert, recounting how many people were gathered at the entrance of the Legon Sports Stadium trying to get tickets for the concert.

“Black Sherif has come to stay. The young man is the future, whether we like it or not. The next generation is Blacko. The others will have to do a lot of work to catch up with that young man,” he said.

Zaama Disco transformed the University of Ghana Sports Stadium into a celebration of music, culture and identity.

Curated by Black Sherif, the concert stood as an extension of his artistic vision and influence beyond the studio.

From the moment he stepped on stage, Black Sherif commanded the night with an electrifying performance that kept the audience spellbound. He delivered a set that reflected his musical evolution and his connection with fans.

Thousands of voices echoed across the stadium as he performed his standout records, turning the venue into a shared moment of emotion, movement and unity.

With a lineup of artistes who passed through to support, Black Sherif used Zaama Disco to prove his ability to headline, host and shape a large-scale live experience.
