Osebo the Zaraman (L) calls out Kwadwo Safo Jr (R) over Kantanka leadership Osebo the Zaraman (L) calls out Kwadwo Safo Jr (R) over Kantanka leadership

Fashion personality ‘Osebo the Zaraman’ has criticised Kwadwo Safo Jr, stating that no matter what he does, he remains stripped of his position by his late father, Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

His comments come amid public debate over who should lead the Kantanka family and its business empire following the passing of the revered inventor and industrialist.

In a TikTok live session, Osebo, who describes himself as a godson of the late Apostle Safo, addressed what he describes as “false narratives” and “unnecessary attacks” against the family.

‘Adwoa Safo is the right heir to Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka’ – Osebo the Zaraman claims

He clarified that the decision to remove Kwadwo Safo Akofena Jr, the Apostle’s son, from leadership roles had nothing to do with family rivalry, contrary to media speculation.

According to him, there is no hatred among the Kantanka siblings. However, he stated that Kwadwo Safo Jr may have displayed certain behaviours that the family disapproved of, leading to his removal.

“None of the siblings hate Kwadwo. However, he may have exhibited some habits that the family frowns upon,” Osebo said.

In a video shared on Smart Ghana TV’s TikTok page, Osebo declared his support for former Member of Parliament Adwoa Safo, who he claims was personally chosen by her late father to lead the Kantanka legacy.

He mentioned that no amount of public backlash would change that decision.

“No number of insults will change the fact that Adwoa Safo was selected by her father to lead the family. She is the queenmother of the church. She will decide who will be king,” Osebo noted.

He further cautioned Kwadwo Safo Jr against spreading misinformation about the family’s internal decisions.

According to Osebo, the late Apostle Kantanka had already stripped his son of all executive roles before his death, and no video evidence could undo that.

“Someone who was once the leader and CEO of all the Kantanka companies is now a former, and it wasn’t Adwoa who made him that. His father stripped him of everything before he passed, and Kwadwo himself knows this. The old video of his father talking about him that he’s sending to bloggers won’t change anything,” Osebo added.
