Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner chat to Best Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet, the boyfriend of their younger sister Kylie Jenner

Shots of the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty have revealed some of the most interesting groupings and conversations that happened at the biggest bash of the Hollywood calendar.

Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were spotted having a smiley chat with Best Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet, the boyfriend of their younger sister Kylie Jenner.

Kim opted for an elegant strapless white frock, with her hair swept back into a neat updo, while Kendall stunned in black lace.

Actress Jessica Alba, who went for an understated black lace gown, and British singer Rita Ora, stunning in purple velvet, were spotted hanging out in a group.

In one of the most eclectic photos of the night for its mix of people, the British star of teen romance TV show Heartstopper, Joe Locke, was joined by American singer Olivia Rodrigo and her British actor boyfriend Louis Partridge. Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams and Wicked set designer Lee Sandales joined them too.

Singer Katy Perry chatted with director Olivia Wilde and actress Anna Kendrick too, at the massive post-awards show bash.

Bedtime for Best Supporting Actress winner Zoe Saldana and other celebs heading out of Vanity Fair afterparty

More stars have been spotted leaving the Vanity Fair post-Oscars bash in Beverly Hills.

Best Supporting Actress winner Zoe Saldana has had a big evening, accepting the trophy for one of the four major acting awards – and she was spotted leaving the post-ceremony shindig with her family to get some well-deserved rest.

Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot also headed for the door in a glittering red dress and matching scarf.

And singer Mary J Blige, in a stunning satin frock in the same hue, was joined by a mystery man upon her exit, who gallantly draped his jacket over her shoulders to keep her warm.

Dazzling musical performances at Oscars 2025: Queen Latifah’s Quincy Jones tribute

Queen Latifah was among the singers who took to the stage to provide dazzling musical entertainment at last night’s Oscars

Queen Latifah, who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress for her role as Matron ‘Mama’ Morton in 2002 musical film Chicago, took to the stage at the ceremony to perform Ease On Down The Road from 1974 musical The Wiz.

Her performance was a touching tribute to the late musician Quincy Jones, who died in November aged 91.

She was joined by Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey in her tribute to the star, who made speeches about Jones’s prolific career.

Best-known for his pop music – which included producing Michael Jackson’s album Thriller – he also composed many film and television scores over the years, nominated for seven Oscars over his lifetime.

Quincy was love lived out loud in human form and he poured that love into other people and their work.

When we talk about black excellence, we’re talking about Quincy.

His work included a film adaptation of The Wiz, honoured by Queen Latifah’s performance at the ceremony, which got attendee actors Ariana Grande, Colman Domingo and Cynthia Erivo up and dancing.

Celebs head home from the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty

Stars tuck into burgers and fries after Vanity Fair afterparty

Spanish pop singer Rosalia tucks into a burger after a long evening

The Oscars is over for another year – but the long, star-studded evening must have seen the celebrities work up a bit of an appetite.

Many stars attended the iconic Oscars Vanity Fair bash at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts – and some were looking worse for wear after a boozy night.

Spanish pop singer Rosalia seemed to be hungry, as she immediately devoured a burger outside the venue after a night of socialising and posing for snaps.

And she wasn’t the only peckish celeb, as Demi Moore consoled herself after her Best Actress loss with a massive plate of french fries.

Timothée Chalamet is (b)utterly slated online for yellow suit

Timothée Chalamet bewilders in all-yellow look – prompting butter comparisons

Fashion fans were quick to slam Timothée Chalamet last night after he attended the Oscars 2025 in a butter-yellow suit.

Chalamet, who was up for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, came to the awards wearing a custom leather two-piece by Givenchy.

However, the look wasn’t for everyone, as many took to X to share their thoughts on his bold look, with some even comparing him to The Man with the Yellow Hat in the Curious George series.

Others simply claimed he looked like a stick of butter.

Dazzling musical performances at Oscars 2025: James Bond tribute

Actress Margaret Qualley opened the segment with a dance tribute to Bond Girls

As a tribute to the James Bond franchise’s long-time producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson – given lifetime achievement awards by the Academy a few months ago – a star-studded tribute to the series was among one of the musical performances at last night’s Oscars.

The medley was introduced by Oscar winner Halle Berry, who played Bond girl Jinx in Die Another Day. It was followed by a dance tribute to Bond Girls by The Substance actress Margaret Qualley, who donned a glamorous red dress for the occasion.

Then, LISA, from Korean pop band Blackpink, sung famous Bond theme Live And Let Die, followed by American rapper and singer Doja Cat taking on Diamonds Are Forever.

Viewers were not so keen on the 29-year-old’s rendition of the Shirley Bassey classic, with one commenter taking to social media to say: ‘Doja Cat sounds like a dead cat.’

British singer Raye closed out the segment with a powerful rendition of Adele’s Skyfall.

Whoops! Demi Moore and Sydney Sweeney’s fashion faux pas with strikingly similar dresses

Demi Moore and Sydney Sweeney’s very similar afterparty looks, which had us seeing double

Demi Moore and Sydney Sweeney suffered an awkward fashion blunder at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars bash on Sunday night as they arrived in nearly the same dress.

The film Demi was up for Best Actress for, The Substance, is about a woman who duplicates herself – and her look at the Academy Awards afterparty seemed also to have a double.

While both actresses looked sensational in their respective looks, Demi and Sydney’s glittering halterneck gowns were strikingly similar in style.

Both sequin dresses featured cut-out sections across the bust, as well as a high halter neck cut.

Their stunning gowns were cinched at the waist and cascaded down to the ground.

Demi’s version of the dress was a glittering gold colour, while Sydney, 27, was sporting a pale pink version of the number.

Both women wore their long locks in a loose style and enhanced their looks with glamorous make-up.

Five most memorable moments: Ariana Grande’s unusual phone holder – and bizarrely placed shoe

Ariana Grande divided fans with her fashion choice at the Oscars last night, donning a voluminous gown – but it proved to be very handy when it came to holding her accessories.

The songstress was spotted briefly during the broadcast when she rose to her feet next to her costar Cynthia Erivo to applaud Wicked’s costume designer Paul Tazewell, who won the Oscar for his efforts on their film.

As she stood up for a standing ovation, her phone was clearly visible resting on the ripple shelf of her skirt.

And at another point, when performing with costar Cynthia Erivo to open the ceremony, she donned a ruby gown to perform Over The Rainbow from The Wizard Of Oz – the colour of the frock inspired by Dorothy’s iconic shoes.

But what fascinated viewers most about the garment was the ruby slipper attached to the back of the dress, in a clear homage to the film character.

Dazzling musical performances at Oscars 2025: Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande

The Academy Awards are there to celebrate the best in film – but they are made even more glamorous by stars taking to the stage to belt their hearts out in song.

In case you missed them, here are the first of the singers that graced last night’s ceremony:

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande sing Wicked medley

The two Wicked stars, nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress respectively, opened last night’s ceremony with a gorgeous Wicked-inspired medley.

Grande began with Over The Rainbow from The Wizard Of Oz, in a red dress to reference Dorothy’s famous shoes – followed by Erivo singing Home from 1974 musical The Wiz.

The two then reunited for Wicked’s Defying Gravity. Erivo pulled off the stunning final riff flawlessly – and there was not a dry eye in the house.

Director of Best Animated Feature grabs a quick burger post-ceremony

Flow, a dialogue-free Latvian film about a cat who tries to find safety after its home is destroyed by a flood, took home the award for Best Animated Feature last night, beating blockbuster Inside Out 2.

Director Gints Zilbalodis took to the stage to give a speech and receive the trophy, thanking his mother, father and pets and saying: ‘We are all in the same boat and must overcome our differences to find ways to work together.’

But all that winning is hungry work – so he popped down to the In-N-Out fast food restaurant down the road for a quick burger after the ceremony, a notorious haunt for peckish celebs after the annual awards.

He posted to X photos of him tucking into his meal there, along with a screenshot of an email from American actor Paul Giamatti – who went viral last year for a post-Golden Globes meal at the same In-N-Out branch.

Giamatti, who won the Golden Globe for his performance in The Holdovers in 2023, said to Zilbalodis: ‘Congratulations!!! Wonderful!!! Beautiful!!!! What a wonderful day.’

Kamala Harris and husband Doug Emhoff cracked open the Doritos for Oscars watch party

After running in last year’s presidential election, American politician Kamala Harris had a chilled night yesterday, watching the Oscars from home with her husband Doug Emhoff.

Mr Emhoff took to X to show the couple’s preparation for their Academy Awards watch party – which included cracking open a bag of Doritos.

It put to rest rumours circulating earlier yesterday that Ms Harris was to be a surprise guest at the awards ceremony, potentially leading a segment paying tribute to the firefighters who bravely fought the LA wildfires.

But the former vice-president instead had a relaxed night-in, sporting a black sweater and a casual bun as she settled in at home for the night.

Watch: Hollywood glamour, caught on film

With cameras constantly at the ready for one of Hollywood’s biggest nights of the year, there is no shortage of clips of the glitz and glamour of the red carpet fashion.

MailOnline’s video team has more, with clips of some of the most dazzling looks of the night:

Exclusive:What did Demi Moore say after shock snub at Oscars 2025?

Demi Moore’s tense one-word reaction to her shock Best Actress Oscar loss to Mikey Madison has been revealed.

The Substance, 62, was the favourite to take home the trophy after winning all the major awards – except a BAFTA – in the run-up to yesterday’s ceremony.

But it was Madison, 25, who got the award on the night – and camera’s captured Moore’s slightly icy reaction.

Lip reader Nicola Hickling exclusively told MailOnline exactly what she said – our reporter reveals all:

Stars bare all with risqué looks at Oscars after party

The Oscars Vanity Fair after party had a running theme amongst its guests’ ensembles following Sunday’s ceremony – most stars turned up in next to nothing.

From peek-a-boo derriere gowns to full naked looks, the A-list sported an array of risque looks for the bash at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Megan Thee Stallion left very little to the imagination in an eye-popping green look that exposed her breasts as it stopped just below them – with the star sporting nipple covers.

Another celeb who bared all was Olivia Wilde, who went braless in a sheer, ivory Chloe dress with a pair of lacy briefs underneath.

And Julia Fox arrived in a completely see-through dress, where her modesty was only covered by her artfully place, long dark hair.

Five best videos of Oscars 2025

One of the biggest nights in film, featuring some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, is bound to produce some clips to remember – and last night’s ceremony did not disappoint.

Here are some of favourite moments on film from this year’s Oscars:

Watch: Battle of the skinny stars at Oscars 2025 amid Ozempic craze

The red carpet at this year’s Oscars sparked discussions about Hollywood’s increasingly slender aesthetic.

The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles saw a parade of slimmed-down A-listers, fuelling concerns that Ozempic is driving a return to the size zero trend.

Among the slender stars gracing this year’s ceremony were Wicked star Ariana Grande, The Substance’s Demi Moore and actress Whoopi Goldberg.

Five most memorable moments: Adrien Brody throws out his chewing gum

Adrien Brody won his second Best Actor award for Holocaust drama The Brutalist – but achieving one of the highest accolades in Hollywood did not stop him being slammed for his ‘disgusting’ act as he walked towards the stage.

As the 51-year-old actor mounted the steps, he turned around, took his chewing gum out of his mouth and threw it to girlfriend and Harvey Weinstein’s ex Georgina Chapman, 48 – much to viewer’s disgust.

Chapman ran up to her partner and diligently caught the gum before he made his speech – which went far beyond his allocated 45 seconds, stretching to five minutes, as he cut off the play-off music.

Fans quickly slammed the star for the moment, saying in one case: ‘Adrien Brody could’ve used his long speech to apologise to his partner for throwing gum at her.’

Watch the video of the bizarre moment in our coverage below:

Anora director Sean Baker matches 70-year-old Oscars record held by Walt Disney

Sean Baker, the director of the Academy Award-winning best picture Anora, entered Oscars folklore last night as he matched a 70-year-old record held by none other than Walt Disney

Baker scooped four wins for Anora, best picture, best director, best editing and best original screenplay, on a stunning night for the independent filmmaker.

He becomes only the second person to win four individual Oscars on a single night after Walt Disney did the same in 1954.

Unlike Disney though, Baker’s awards were for a single film which received further success when Mikey Madison was presented with the best actress award.

Speaking on the Dolby Theatre stage, Baker, 54, said: ‘This is my battle cry: Filmmakers, keep making films for the big screen. I know I will.’

Unexpected famous faces we were delighted to at the 2025 Oscars

The 97th Academy Awards ceremony saw some unexpected celeb faces rock up – to our collective delight. Take a look at our round-up of the the surprising faces we were thrilled to see:

When Harry Met Sally’s Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal

The stars of When Harry Met Sally, Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal, reunited to present the Best Picture trophy to Anora.

It marked Ryan’s first appearance at the Oscars in 27 years – and the audience were delighted as the pair stepped out to the tune of It Had To Be You, the soundtrack to the beloved 1989 romcom they starred in together.

In their speech before reading out the nominations, Crystal made a nod to his character Harry’s confession of love to Sally at the end of the film: ‘You’re right because when you have a chance to be an Oscar winner for the rest of your life, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.’

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger

The musician unexpectedly rocked up to present Best Original Song, to the delight of the audience, who gave him a standing ovation – including fellow singer Elton John.

He revealed onstage he wasn’t the first choice to present the category – but that musician Bob Dylan, whose biopic A Complete Unknown was nominated for eight awards, had initially been approached.

But according to 81-year-old Jagger, Dylan, 83, declined: ‘Bob said, “You should find somebody younger”. I said, “OK, I’m younger”, so here I am.’

Morgan Freeman paying tribute to Gene Hackman

We are always happy to see the 87-year-old actor, who spoke at the ceremony – but on this occasion, it was unfortunately under incredibly tragic circumstances.

He paid an emotional tribute to his friend and costar, double Oscar winner Gene Hackman, 95, who was found dead along with his wife Betsy Arakawa, 64, earlier this week.

Their bodies were found partially mummified at their $3.3million Santa Fe mansion, with pills strewn in their bahtroom. Their causes of death remain a mystery.

Freeman said: ‘Well, this week, our community lost a giant, and I lost a dear friend, Gene Hackman. I had the pleasure of working alongside Gene on two films, Unforgiven and Under Suspicion.

‘And like everyone who ever shared a scene with him, I learned he was a generous performer, a man whose gifts elevated everyone’s work. He received two Oscars, but more importantly, he won the hearts of film lovers all over the world.

‘Gene always said, “I don’t think about legacy. I just hope people remember me as someone who tried to do good work.”

‘I think I speak for us all when I say, Gene, you will be remembered for that, and so much more. Rest in peace, my friend.’

Five most memorable moments: LA blaze firefighters come onstage

LA Fire Captain Erik Scott makes one of the biggest quips of the night as he takes to the stage with other LA blaze firefighters

This year, the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles was preceded by a sombre period for the American city – which had been ravaged by wildfires, killing 29 people.

After the Golden Globes and Grammys made the devastating blazes a central part of their ceremonies, the Oscars mentioned them only a few times – suggesting Los Angeles is starting to rebuild and move on.

But in a particularly poignant moment, the firefighters who fought the flames were welcomed onstage, with host Conan O’Brien dubbing them ‘heroes’ to a standing ovation.

And in a hilarious turn, the presenter handed over control of the teleprompter to them at one stage. LA Fire Captain Erik Scott read out a joke that said their sympathies were with everyone who lost their homes – including those who made Joker 2, which critically bombed.

Getting an enormous laugh from the audience, O’Brien was nearly out of a job – the host said the firefighter’s cheeky moment was the best comic timing of the night.

Best-dressed! Demi Moore, Halle Berry and Emma Stone lead red carpet glamour

The Academy Awards are always a glitzy night for film stars – but there were a couple in particular who really dazzled with their looks at this year’s ceremony.

Emilia Perez star Selena Gomez led the best-dressed list on the red carpet, in a custom, skin tight, rose gold, mesh Ralph Lauren gown, with her short locks in old Hollywood waves.

Demi Moore, nominated for Best Actress for The Substance, also went for a metalic hue, opting for a grey-silver Armani Prive number highlighting her incredible physique.

Halle Berry wowed in a silver, almost disco ball style frock from Christian Siriano, made from a mosaic of mirrored pieces, that she sported with minimal jewellery, with her short hair worn loose.

And Emma Stone chose a simple nude and silver gown from Louis Vuitton, with her hair arranged in 1930s-style finger waves.

Five most memorable moments: Adam Sandler throws a tantrum?

Actor and comedian Adam Sandler looked slightly less glamorous than some of his fellow attendees – in a blue hoodie with the hood up, a Hawaiian shirt and basketball shorts.

Host Conan O’Brien called attention to his look near the start of the evening, describing him as ‘dressed like a guy playing video poker at 2am’.

After a bit of jokey back and forth, Sandler got up to say he was ‘leaving’, making sure to greet a laughing Timothée Chalamet with a friendly slap on the back and saying ‘Chalamet’ before he made his exit.

It harked back to Sandler’s recent surprise appearance on American comedy show Saturday Night Live to introduce Chalamet as host but also a musical guest, performing two Bob Dylan songs from his turn as the singer in biopic A Complete Unknown.

On that occasion, Sandler playfully mispronounced Chalamet’s surname – and he could not resist doing the same at last night’s Oscar.

What you didn’t see on TV at the Oscars

Fans watching the 2025 Academy Awards ceremony on TV only got part of the story.

Behind the scenes, Hollywood’s biggest stars showed off alternately charming and ridiculous displays.

Wicked star Ariana Grande briefly repurposed her dress’s rigid skirt as a phone holder when joining the standing ovation for the film’s costume designer Paul Tazewell, who won the Oscar for his efforts.

Her phone, protected by a case with a bear on it, was clearly visible resting on the rippled shelf on top of her skirt.

And another Wicked star, Jeff Goldblum, was spotted Googling his own red carpet looks during some downtime.

Take a look at more of the sweetest – and wackiest – off-screen moments below:

Five most memorable moments: Halle Berry smooches Adrien Brody

The biggest night in film was full of memorable moments – from smooches, to storming out, to sombre moments reflecting on the recent Los Angeles wildfires. Take a look at the first of the biggest moments below:

Halle Berry locks lips with Best Actor winner Adrien Brody

In a moment that took everyone around them on the red carpet by surprise, American actress Halle Berry ran up to Best Actor winner Adrien Brody and gave him a big smooch on the lips.

It was self-confessed payback for a moment at the Academy Awards in 2003, when Brody last won Best Actor, for war drama The Pianist. After Berry gave him his trophy, The Brutalist star turned around and gave her a kiss, elated at his victory.

Berry told Variety: ‘I had to pay him back.’

And she said to Extra that Brody’s girlfriend Georgina Chapman ‘was fine’ with it – and Chapman can be seen laughing in the background of a clip the Academy posted on X of the moment.

The Academy’s posted was captioned: ‘A reunion 22 years in the making.’

The 68-year-old musician has been nominated for an Oscars 16 times but has fallen short of gold each time, including tonight.

In response to Diane’s latest defeat, fans unearthed a crushing clip of her losing the Oscar three years go – when she was unable to conceal her disappointment.

The ensemble left her toned midriff on full display.

Oscars comes to an end as Anora becomes the big winner of the night

The awards show is official over, with Anora taking home five awards, The Brutalist earning three, and Emilia Perez, Wicked, and Dune: Part Two all getting two.

Now it’s on to the afterparty, where the stars are expected to dazzle in a whole new set of stunning looks.

One user joked the Hulu’s ‘days were numbered’ after the livestream cut-off before the final award, while another announced they were ‘canceling’ their subscription because of it.

Anora wins Best Picture, marking its fifth accolade of the night

Director Sean Baker told the crowd after winning, ‘We made this movie for $6 million and shooting all on location in New York City with about 40 crew members.

‘They’re all back in New York. This is for you guys. Thank you so much. We made this movie independently.

‘If you’re trying to make independent films, keep doing it. We need more. This is proof.’

Mikey was up against Fernanda Torres, Demi Moore, Karla Sofia Gascon, and Cynthia Erivo.

And while some viewers were excited for Mikey, many of Demi’s fans were not happy that she lost, and took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their frustration.

Soon after the award was announced, the platform was flooded with posts about how Demi deserved it.

One user said she was ‘robbed’ and another called it the ‘biggest snub in Oscars history.’

Parks And Recreation star Nick Offerman, who was narrating the ceremony, introduced him once – then again when he failed to materialize the first time.

At that point Ben, 59, began to be lifted onto the stage from underneath with the help of an elevator, only for the machine to stall.

To gales of laughter from the audience, Ben stared out at them stony-faced, visible only from the chest up because of the supposedly malfunctioning lift.

Anora director Sean Baker snags the award for Best Director

An Oscar winning director was heckled as he delivered an impassioned critique of Donald Trump’s foreign policy relating to the Israel-Palestine crisis during his acceptance speech on stage.

Basel Adra gripped the Oscar for Best Documentary for his film No Other Land, which captured the plight of Palestinians througout the ongoing war with Israel.

But as he slammed ‘this administration’s foreign policy’ for blocking the path to peace, a member of the crowd shouted ‘get rid of Hamas,’ according to a Vulture reporter who heard the interaction.

The actor beat out TImothee Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Ralph Fiennes, and Sebastian Stan, and marked the third win of the night for The Brutalist.

‘No matter where you are in your career, no matter what you’ve accomplished, it can all go away. And I think what makes this night so special is the awareness of that,’ he said during his acceptance speech.

Before he took to the stage, the actor left viewers disgusted when he was caught on camera taking a piece of gum out of his mouth and throwing it to his girlfriend.

Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg share moving tribute to Quincy Jones

‘When we’re talking about Black excellence, we’re talking about Quincy,’ Whoopi told the audience.

Queen Latifah then took to the stage to sing the song Ease on Down the Road from The Wiz.

Brazil’s I’m Still Here takes home the award for International Feature

Oscars host Conan O’Brien makes subtle dig at President Donald Trump

The talk show host noticebly steered clear of politics during his opening monologue.

But later on in the evening he threw in a jab at the President, jokingly telling the audience, ‘Anora is having a good night. Two wins already. I guess Americans are excited to see somebody finally stand up to a powerful Russian.’

It came after Oscars presenter Daryl Hannah also made an off-script remark about Trump.

As she started out her segment, the actress said ‘Slava Ukraini.’ The phrase translates to ‘Glory to Ukraine.’

It comes following the startling exchange between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Oval Office this week, over Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Oscars is PANNED by viewers as they brand awards show as ‘boring’ and ‘a snooze-fest’

Many social media users even admitted that they were turning it off to watch White Lotus instead.

The Brutalist wins for Best Cinematography and Original Score

The Adrien Brody-lead film took home two awards during the ceremony.

Michelle tragically passed away at age 39 earlier this week, shortly after undergoing a liver transplant; her cause of death will never be known after her family declined an autopsy.

But many fans were left upset after they noticed that she was not included in the emotional In Memoriam segment during the Oscars.

A slew of stars were honored, and Gene Hackman even received an emotional tribute from Morgan Freeman.

Morgan Freeman at the 97th Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre

Days after the icon’s death aged 95, Morgan, 87, who starred alongside double Oscar winner Gene in Under Suspicion and Unforgiven, lauded his friend and co-star as he took to the stage.

Freeman said: ‘I had the pleasure of working with Gene Hackman on two films, Unforgiven and Under Suspicion.’

He added that he was a ‘generous performer’, and said he ‘won the hearts of film lovers around the world’.

Referencing Hackman saying that he wanted to do ‘good work’ in film, Freeman said:

You’ll be remembered for that, and so much more.

The In Memoriam segment then showed images of Dame Maggie Smith, Dame Joan Plowright, Donald Sutherland, Kris Kristofferson, Shelley Duvall, David Lynch, James Earl Jones, and Hackman among others.

The two actresses were in adjacent rows in the audience, and at one point they both stood up to give each other a peck on the cheek over the chairs.

Their brief exchange of pleasantries came off as so uncomfortable to fans that a joke about it has now become a runaway hit on X, formerly Twitter.

Firefighters who battled the devastating Pallisades fires received a standing ovation on stage the 2025 Oscars.

But when Captain Erik Scott made a joke about Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix-lead flick Joker 2, things turned slightly awkward.

‘Our hearts go out to all of those who have lost their homes. And I’m talking about the producers of Joker 2,’ he said.

Dune: Part Two wins for both Best Visual Effects and Best Sound

Writers Clément Ducol, Camille and Jacques Audiard took to the stage to accept the award.

But when they suddenly started singing on stage, some people were unamused and called the moment ‘cringey.’

Doja Cat was slammed for her ‘terrible’ performance of iconic James Bond hit Diamonds Are Forever at the 2025 Oscars Sunday.

Fans were quite pleased upon hearing the iconic voice of none other than Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman as the Oscar announcer.

The Only Girl in the Orchestra takes home the award for Best Documentary Short and No Other Land wins for Best Documentary Feature

Conan O’Brien shocks with crude joke about Kendrick Lamar branding Drake a ‘pedophile’

Oscars host Conan left the audience stunned when he referenced the drama between Kendrick and Drake.

During the Super Bowl last month, Kendrick sensationally called his enemy Drake a ‘pedophile’ during one of his songs.

And during the ceremony this evening, Conan brought up the moment.

He joked, ‘We’re halfway through the show, so now’s the time for Kendrick Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile.’

Onstage at the SAG Awards , Kieran, 42, joked about how heavy the trophy was, quipping that ‘I don’t think there’s any way anyone can hold this for 45 seconds – which is the allotted time, Adrien Brody, 45 seconds.’

At the Academy Awards this evening, Robert took the stage to announce the best supporting actor nominees – and took a swipe at Kieran in the process.
