New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA, has launched a scathing attack on the Attorney General and his deputy, describing them as incompetent and unfit for their roles.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb on October 22, 2025, KOKA said President John Dramani Mahama should consider sending the two top legal officers ‘back to the classroom’ to learn the basics of courtroom practice and legal management.

“Mahama should allow the Attorney General and his Deputy to go back to the classroom because they are not good in the court. ORAL and its whole system have failed,” he stated.

According to him, the Attorney General’s office has now become more of a public relations outfit than a serious legal institution.

He alleged that the individuals in charge are more concerned about media appearances than winning cases and ensuring justice.

“The person is doing PR and has not gone to court. Are they the Minister of Information? All they do is talk. They should go to court and stop doing PR,” he fumed.

KOKA said Ghanaians had expected better performance from the Attorney General’s office under the Mahama administration, but the public has been disappointed by their lack of courtroom efficiency and strategy.

He has therefore called on President Mahama to appoint competent legal practitioners who can restore confidence in the justice system and protect the integrity of government prosecutions.
