A person has died and three others injured after a bus and car collided on a residential street in north west London.
The crash occurred on Monday night near Whitmore Road in Harrow.
Emergency rushed to the area and, despite medics’ best efforts, the person died at the scene.
Paramedics treated three other people before taking two patients to hospital.
The deadly crash led to travel disruption across the local area with roads blocked in multiple directions.
London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 9.17pm on 24 February to reports of a road traffic collision near Whitmore Road.
‘We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in fast response car, an incident response officer, members of our hazardous area response team (HART) as well as command support vehicles.

‘We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.’
‘We treated four patients at the scene before taking two patients to a major trauma centre and discharging one patient at the scene.
‘Very sadly, despite best efforts of our crews, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.’
Horror snaps of the rash showed a bus’ windscreen smashed, and a car seemingly coming to rest on the footpath nearby.
Pieces of clothing and bags could also be seen strewn all over the footpath and road.
