Tema-based rapper Sarkodie is once again in the news after an old tweet of him praising Gari surfaced on social media.
Sarkodie few weeks ago was in the news after his post suggesting Ghanaians have chosen to go back to Gari soaking.
Though the tweet seemed harmless, people read political meanings into his post saying he was throwing shade at President Mahama for winning the elections and being sworn in as President.
According to some, Sarkodie is bitter that the NPP which he allegedly belonged led by Dr Bawumia failed to win the elections despite the belief that they fed Ghanaians with honey.
Well, it’s been days since that comment was made and netizens have dug an old tweet of him praising Gari.
His old post reads: “Same old sh** just a different day “Ageyenkwa””
