Media personality Oheneba Serwaa Bonsu has addressed reports of a court injunction filed against her and Oheneba Media by Odo Broni, the second wife of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, and mother, Cecilia Minta.

The reported injunction was said to restrain Serwaa Bonsu, Oheneba Media, and Oheneba Agyei Nimako from discussing or publishing any content related to Odo Broni or her family.

According to reports, the Accra High Court granted the order on September 26, 2025, with Justice Forson Agyapong Baah presiding over the case.

A screenshot of the court document was shared on Instagram by Ayisha Modi, indicating that the injunction was filed on September 15, 2025.

Speaking on the issue, Serwaa Bonsu dismissed the reports, describing the lawsuit as “fake.”

She firmly stated that no legal action had been taken against her or her media outlet.

Serwaa Bonsu also clarified that she holds no personal grudge against Daddy Lumba’s widow or her mother.

She also denied ever receiving payment from Akosua Serwaa, as some rumors suggested, to defame them on her platform.

Also, she refuted claims of having any relationship with Daddy Lumba’s first wife, stating that she has never met or spoken to her.

The media personality expressed disappointment in some of her followers, who, according to her, distanced themselves after the news of the alleged lawsuit emerged, despite having previously supported and praised her work.

“When the news came out that I had been sued… the suit itself I realised was fake. It was something people put out just in case there is an issue, so it could easily be settled. I don’t have any problem with Odo Broni or her mother.

“Sometimes when a situation doesn’t favour someone, they assume you hate them. Before the rumour about the lawsuit, people used to call the company to commend me for my work, but after the news broke, no one called to find out what really happened or even to offer support,” she stated.
