Ghanaian media personality and DJ with Accra-based Angel FM, Ohemaa Woyeje, has publicly thrown her support behind Akosua Serwaa Fosu, the German-based wife of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, following the musician’s final funeral rites held at the Heroes’ Park of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

In an Instagram post shared after the funeral, Ohemaa Woyeje posted an image of Akosua Serwaa and added a cryptic caption.

The caption was written in Akan and English and carried a message of solidarity, justice, and spiritual conviction.

    She wrote:

“You can’t be neutral in the face of injustice! May the spirits of life be invoked according to our sacrificial truth. Our toil shall never be in vain.”

This post came in the wake of Akosua Serwaa’s absence from the high-profile funeral. Her absence has already generated intense public debate due to the prolonged legal and customary disputes over who had the right to perform widowhood rites and take charge of the burial of the late singer.
