Nana Ama McBrown’s deep faith in God has come under the spotlight after gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy revealed that she believes the actress and media personality has a calling to minister the word of God.
In a video shared online, Ohemaa Mercy spoke about a “special grace” upon McBrown, saying the actress has been chosen by God for a greater purpose.
The gospel musician said she is convinced McBrown will thrive if she accepts the calling and commits herself to it. She also revealed that she has been praying about the matter for years.
Ohemaa Mercy explained that her conviction dates back to 2020 and said her encounters with McBrown have strengthened her belief that God intends to use her in a unique way.
She said McBrown has a calling and needs to obey it and walk in it. Ohemaa Mercy also suggested that the actress could take up a leadership role on the Women of the Altar programme.
She added that she has been praying about McBrown’s calling from 2020 until now and remains convinced that God will use her.
McBrown, who appeared receptive to the revelation, opened up about her personal relationship with God and explained why Ohemaa Mercy’s words resonated with her.
The actress said God is often the first thing on her mind when she wakes up, describing Him as the purest and cleanest presence in her life. She added that she makes it a point to thank God before getting out of bed.
McBrown also recalled her pregnancy with her daughter, Maxin, saying she initially struggled to believe she was pregnant because of a special feeling she experienced at the time.
She further shared her belief in approaching prayer with complete faith, saying people invited to prayer centers should go with their whole hearts because something positive can come from the experience.
The actress also reflected on the influence Ohemaa Mercy’s Tehillah Experience has had on her life, particularly during her pregnancy and after the birth of her daughter.
According to McBrown, Maxin was born after eight months and two days of pregnancy and has remained healthy since birth. She said her daughter has also been eating well.
McBrown revealed that she had prayed for protection against any threatening condition that could affect either herself or her daughter and expressed gratitude that God had remained faithful to her.
