Ghanaian veteran actor Oboy Siki has once again stirred massive conversation online after celebrating his birthday today, February 3, 2026, in a manner that many have described as shocking and unconventional.

In viral videos circulating across social media platforms, the outspoken Kumawood star was seen being carried out of a car by a group of men in a coffin.

Dressed in a neatly tailored suit, his face heavily covered with white powder, cotton stuffed in his nose, and his hands fitted with gloves which just as is typically done for deceased persons prepared for burial.

The videos have since gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions ranging from amusement to deep concern.

While some social media users described the act as creative and bold, others felt it was unsettling and unnecessary, especially considering the cultural sensitivity surrounding death.

However, this is not the first time the actor has courted controversy with conversations about his own mortality.

Years ago, he made headlines after publicly predicting the year of his death, boldly stating in interviews that he believed he would die in 2024.

At the time, he claimed he had prayed about it and even informed close associates, insisting he would pass away peacefully at home rather than through an accident.
