A group of National Youth Service Corps members were compelled to seek an alternative mode of transportation, boarding a minivan to arrive at their destination.

A video posted by one of the corp members @kha_deejaht displayed the corps members of both genders serving under a local government in Oyo State transporting themselves via an unconventional method due to lack of transportation.

The video captured the corps members standing in the minivan’s storage area (booth) to arrive at their destination ignoring looks from passersby.

Some scowled at passersby for photographing them, even going so far as to use the insulting “waka” hand gesture, while others embraced the ride and captured the experience on camera.

In response to Internet criticism, @kha_deejaht stated that although they had funds for transportation, the lack of buses forced them to walk till they boarded a minivan together.

“There was no bus, we were trekking to see if we will get one at the front😩.”

The video has sparked hilarious comments online.
