A National Youth Service Corps member (NYSC) has taken to social media to share his surprising first experience at a school where he was posted to serve as his Primary Place of Assignment (PPA).

According to the corps member, he was assigned to teach two nursery classes in a remote village.

He claimed the school lacked basic teaching facilities and a conducive environment.

The school looked run down, with most of the buildings almost falling apart. He also revealed that the children attending the school were not used to proper formal classroom interactions and standard school routines.

Users on the internet expressed a mix of amusement and concern, commenting on the innocent state of the pupils.

While others pointed out the challenges corps members face when posted to underserved rural areas.
