Several high-ranking members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) visited the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the Police Headquarters to express support for Daniel Adomako, widely known as “Sir Obama Pokuase,” who is currently detained for allegedly exhibiting high-grade firearms.

Notable figures in attendance included former NPP General Secretary John Boadu, National Youth Organizer Henry Nana Boakye, Pius Enam Hadzide, Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer Moses Abor, lawyer Baffour Awuah, and other party supporters.

Their visit was intended to offer moral backing to Sir Obama, who has been charged with unlawful possession and public display of advanced weaponry.

This development follows increased public scrutiny of the case, which is linked to ongoing national security efforts to crack down on illegal arms and criminal behavior.
