    A young Nigerian woman has sparked debate online after sharing how she spent the 50K sent to her by a male admirer who had intended to meet her for a hookup.

    According to the lady, the man reached out to her on Snapchat, proposing a hookup arrangement and sent 50,000 for transportation.

    But rather than meeting up with him, she went straight to the market, used the money to buy chicken, turkey, and cooking ingredients, and later prepared a homemade chicken stew for herself.

    In the now-viral clip, the woman is seen flaunting her market purchases and food preparation process, while ignoring multiple messages from the man asking, “Where are you?”

    She stated that she deliberately kept him waiting and planned to only respond after she had eaten to her satisfaction.

    While some hailed her for turning the situation into a teachable moment and standing against hookup culture, others criticized her for dishonesty and exploiting someone’s money under pretenses.

    As the video continues to circulate, it remains unclear whether the admirer has publicly responded or taken any action, but the lady seems unbothered.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Na after you collect money you know sey you no dey do hook up. When hand touch you now, you go dey cry for help.”

    “She never hear say dem don de arrest people wey collect transport and them no show up?”

    “If you no dey hookup, simply tell the person. Why lead him on and collect his money? You no do hookup, but scamming men out of their money is not beyond you.”

    Watch the video below,

    “This is a lesson to all guys on Snapchat, not all girls on Snapchat are into whocup. I don’t use your ₦50,000 transport you sent me to make stew.”
