Actress Nana Ama McBrown, who has achieved fame, has said that she has never been pressured by filmmakers to do sexual favors in exchange for gigs.
She addressed the problem of manipulation in the entertainment industry in a recent Onua Showtime debate, claiming that she is not the kind of person who is readily forced into an affair.
Since I don’t conceal my relationships, I didn’t encounter anyone who attempted to smuggle themselves into a covert relationship with me when I first started working in the film industry. I can’t keep my partner a secret. I have to make sure the public knows who I’m with,” she said.
McBrown stressed her openness about her relationships, saying she has always been upfront about who she is dating, according to GhanaWeb reports.
She told a story about Morris, who gave her her first screenplay for a film, as she reflected on her early career.
McBrown talked about how they fell in love while filming, praising his charisma, generosity, and leadership on the set.
She remembered being attracted to Morris’s attractiveness and the encouraging attitude he displayed during their time together. Instead of being a casual encounter, their bond developed into a serious relationship by the end of their endeavor.
According to McBrown, their relationship’s public disclosure greatly decreased unwelcome approaches from other males.
Respect and boundaries were upheld because their two-and-a-half-year relationship was well-known among their family and acquaintances.
McBrown said that Morris is a wonderful person when the interviewer jokingly implied that after hearing her story, people could begin searching for him.
