A Nigerian mother has amazed internet users with her funny response after her daughter sent a video of the rice dish she prepared in school without protein.

In the clip, the lady @oluwatemilorun shared their WhatsApp conversation, revealing the video of her rice dish, which strongly resembled village rice prepared with palm oil and lots of pepper to spice.

In a musical tune, the lady lamented that the rice had no fish, egg, or plantain, and she had no choice but to consume it without protein.

The lady noted that she wasn’t expecting her mother to sing in response, so she was taken aback by her reaction.

Her mother sang a song and said she should be thankful for the rice dish because many people cannot afford it. As she prays for her daughter’s success, she stated that the type of food she currently eats in school would soon be history.
