Hiplife legend, Obrafour, has singled out Sarkodie for praise, hailing him as the only young artiste he has met who consistently carries himself with humility and regard for those who paved the way.
In an interview with content creator Code Micky, the veteran rapper said Sarkodie’s humility has set him apart from his peers throughout his career.
“I am yet to see any other colleague of his who displays such respect and empathy for his seniors in the game,” Obrafour said.

The chemistry between Obrafour and Sarkodie has birthed songs such as Moesha, Always on My Mind, Saa Okodie No, Hope (Brighter Day), Hiplife, and Life.
On September 27, 2025, the two shared the stage at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic Homecoming Concert at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi; a performance that fans hailed as one of the standout moments of the night.
Obrafour not only praised Sarkodie’s humility, but he also marveled at his unstoppable drive.
He recalled the early days when Sarkodie practically made the studio his second home, recording a new track every single day.

“He used to record at least one song every single day when I met him. It was unmatched. I have not seen anything like that before,” Obrafour revealed.
According to the Hiplife pioneer, it is this unmatched work ethic that explains Sarkodie’s impressive catalogue of hits and dominance in the rap scene in Ghana.
The ‘Rap Sofo,’ as Obrafour is commonly known, also stated that his comments were not out of flattery, but from a place of genuine respect for Sarkodie as well.
“I am not saying this to flatter him, but I genuinely admire him for his work rate,” Obrafour added.
