Controversial Ghanaian marriage counselor, George Lutterodt, has stated that no woman truly loves her husband, not even his own wife.

He made these statements while discussing how some women dominate their husbands, adding that men who allow their wives to be overly protective of them are mentally unstable.

“There’s no woman who loves her husband including my wife. Any wife who’s listening to me, the fact that you’re married to a man and you decide to protect the man doesn’t mean you love the man.

“Any man who allows you to protect him has a mental problem. One of the people who can order you around as a man is your mother. Any man who gets married never in his life wants to live with his mother.” Counselor Lutterodt said.

Citing additional examples to support his point, he stated that women who follow their husbands everywhere in the name of love act like “mother figures,” which he claims weakens a man’s ego.

“A woman who polices her husband in the name of love and wants to go everywhere to show that she’s the wife becomes a mother figure in your life and no man’s ego grows” he stated.

He insisted that marriage should not be seen as a practice of democracy and that women must endeavour to obey and respect their husbands.

“No woman can love a man, you can only obey and respect the dictate of the man. A man is always right and marriage is not a democracy,” he added.
