Media personality Ohemaa Woyeje has distanced herself from news regarding hiplife musician Okomfour Kwadee after pledging to support the musician a few weeks ago.

In a discussion on United Showbiz, Ohemaa Woyeje detailed her reasons for distancing herself from the musician.

She explained that during a live television appearance, Okomfour Kwadee‘s mother made a statement, saying that people should call her (Ohemaa Woyeje) if they want information about the musician.

According to Ohemaa Woyeje, she is not ready to take the position of Hammar Nti, who has been taking care of the musician over the years.

“Kwadee’s issue isn’t a difficult one if he is taken care of… When you spoke with Kwadee’s mother the last time, she mentioned my name, saying that if people want information about Kwadee, they should call me, and it didn’t sit well with Hammar. Because Hammar is the one who has officially been taking care of him, I am not ready to take the position of anybody.

“After your interview with his mother, I sent Hammar a text message that I had something to discuss with him, and he told me if it was about Kwadee, I shouldn’t bother because the mother had already said that if people want information and also want to contribute, they should get in touch with me,” she said.

Ohemaa Woyeje added that she wanted to personally contribute financially to Kwadee’s health and has no intention of soliciting funds from the public, as has been perceived.

“I haven’t taken anybody’s money. I am the one who even wanted to contribute. But they are making it look like I am appealing for support for the musician,” She stated.

She continued, “He has taken offence, and I don’t even know what I did. He has even sent a letter to Angel FM demanding an apology, claiming I said he doesn’t need anybody’s financial support. So, anything about Kwadee, nobody should call me. Deal with Hammar or his mother so that we can keep the respect.”
