Instrumentalist and music producer, Kwame Yeboah, has declared himself the best when it comes to producing and playing Highlife music in Ghana.
According to him, his skills in this particular industry are unmatched.
Speaking in an interview on Joy FM, Kwame Yeboah said his mastery of Highlife sets him apart not just in Ghana but on the entire planet.

He explained that while he can be challenged in other genres, especially those rooted abroad, Highlife is an area where he believes he stands above everyone else.
“I feel like I’m one of the best Highlife players on the planet. It doesn’t matter what other genre. That’s what I pride myself in, because I have something special that no one else on the planet has. No one can compete with me about Highlife music,” he said.
He added that genres like jazz and other internationally developed styles might have producers who could outperform him, but in Highlife, Kwame Yeboah said he has the ability to “school” anyone on any instrument.

“That one, I can say, like, oh, the jazz and the other genres made abroad, they can always come and tell me to sit aside when it comes to Jazz, but I can definitely school everyone in Highlife music on every instrument,” he explained.
The music producer, who comes from a music-inclined family, credited his father, AK Yeboah, for giving him early exposure to some of the greatest names in Highlife.
He cited past developments when legendary musicians passed through their home, giving him the chance to watch, learn, and eventually play alongside them.
“Oh, who didn’t I learn from? That’s the one you want to know, because… My dad is a musician, and every single one of these artistes came to our house. So I know everyone. You probably have no idea the people who were… I know Alhaji K Frimpong, Nana Ampadu, Dr Paa Bobo, and I played for them as well,” he said.
