Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has offered advice to women ahead of Valentine’s Day.

In a post shared on X on February 12, 2026, she urged ladies to move beyond the usual gifts of boxer shorts and singlets, which she said men are tired of receiving.

According to Nana Aba, women should go the extra mile by purchasing more thoughtful and luxurious presents such as Hermès ties, slippers, or even perfumes from brands like Louis Vuitton.

She explained that Ghanaian men are tired of receiving such gifts.

“Stop ordering boxer shorts and singlets for your men as Valentine’s Day gifts. Do better. Buy them original LV perfumes, Hermès ties, and slippers. Replace their phones. Pay for dinner or lunch. Better still, buy them a plot of land at Kasoa,” she said.
