Nii Ashie Moore, NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman.

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has urged party members to put their differences aside and unite behind the party following its constituency elections.

In a congratulatory message to successful candidates, Mr Moore said their victories reflected the confidence party members had placed in them and the commitment they had shown to serving the party.

He reminded the newly elected executives that their victory came with the responsibility to work in the collective interest of the NDC and the people of Ghana.

He urged them to remain humble, strengthen the party’s structures and promote unity as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.

Mr Moore also appealed to candidates who lost their contests not to feel sidelined, but to remain active and contribute to the party’s growth.

“Every member has a valuable role to play, and our collective strength lies in our ability to work together despite our differences,” he said.

He stressed the need for reconciliation after the internal contests, urging members to set aside personal disagreements and focus on the party’s shared objectives.

The regional chairman further called on party members to support President John Dramani Mahama’s vision, saying the NDC’s goals could be achieved only through collective effort and a shared sense of purpose.

He extended the call for unity to the party’s upcoming regional elections, urging members to remain focused and work together towards the party’s objectives.

Mr Moore wished the successful candidates wisdom and strength in their new roles, expressing hope that the constituency elections would lead to greater unity and continued progress within the party.
