Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji known as Oladips the Nigerian rapper, is trending on social media again due to last year’s death hoax resurfacing.

His management had initially announced his passing on November 14, 2023, stating that he had been battling some illness for two years. This prompted an outpouring of condolences on social media by fans.

After the news of his death circulated, Oladips himself put the rumors to rest by posting a heartwarming video with his mom on social media.

According to the report, Oladips allegedly “came back to life” three days after being pronounced dead just like the biblical Jesus Christ.

Fast forward to today, and it seems Nigerians, especially Twitter folks are still talking about the drama that unfolded exactly this time last year. Oladips had earned the nickname “Lazarus” symbolizing his resurrection from the dead.

He has also dropped a song of the same title today, commemorating his death rumor and dissing those who trolled him after he declared being alive.

Here are some of the comments:

yomideee__: Una no dae forget something.

Papito_bg: A years ago you’re gone your memories still lives Rest on Oladips.

happiokos_comedy: So today na the Remembrance Day?

    herdeymolar111: Broda Lazarus.

alexanderdagr8____: The real walking dead.. not even Rick can survive this.
