A Nigerian mum has turned heads online after struggling to eat noodles with chopsticks at an Asian restaurant her son took her to.

In an online video, her son shared a funny experience that revealed his mum had difficulty using chopsticks at an Asian restaurant. Since she wasn’t familiar with them, she tried her best, but found it quite difficult to pick up her food.

She could be seen attempting different methods, laughing at herself as she struggled to get a proper grip. Her determination, mixed with the awkward attempts, left everyone on their table amused.

After trying different methods, she was able to eat her noodles without minding whether it wasn’t the right way to hold chopsticks. Her son mentioned that she behaved like an individual brought from the village.

The video quickly gained attention online, with many users relating to the experience and sharing their own first-time struggles with chopsticks. While some questioned why the man took his mum to a restaurant she wasn’t familiar with, others disclosed that their mum wouldn’t accompany them to eat a foreign meal.
