A young Nigerian woman has marked a significant moment, as she celebrates one year of survival after losing her left leg to cancer.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), @bidemi_akins reflected on the life-changing day February 16, 2023, when she underwent amputation in her fight for life.

In her post, she shared a powerful before-and-after comparison, featuring a photo taken shortly after her surgery alongside a recent photoshoot that showcases her strength and resilience.

    Expressing deep gratitude, she wrote:

“One year ago today, I lost my leg to cancer. The enemy’s plan was not just for me to lose my leg, but for me to be buried. But today, I stand as proof that God is not done with me, that His mercy speaks louder than any verdict of the enemy. Thank you, Lord Jesus 🙌”

Her inspiring testimony has resonated with many, generating an outpour of support and encouragement in the comments section.

Users have praised her faith and determination, with many flooding the comment section to celebrate her journey of healing and hope.
