Following the online stir caused by a video capturing Prophet Nigel Gaisie, tearing pieces of paper and placing them into a bottle of anointing oil while praying against former NPP presidential aspirant Kennedy Agyapong, the prophet has spoken out.
In an interview with GHOne TV, Prophet Nigel Gaisie commented on the video and his actions, stating that he was actually lenient with Kennedy Agyapong.
According to Nigel Gaisie, he is usually “aggressive” and “violent” by nature and does not possess a gentle anointing, adding that he would have been far more hostile toward the former presidential candidate if he hadn’t been cautioned by senior prophets.

“My oil is not a gentle type of oil. I stand for the church. I’m aggressive and violent. And even during this primary, I would have been much more raw and dirty if I weren’t called by some of my senior men, whom I have a lot of respect for. I would have been very, very dirty with Kennedy,” he said.
Nigel Gaisie further noted that Kennedy Agyapong’s actions against the church and its prophets were misguided, which he believes contributed to his defeat.
According to him, the politician should not have taken the law into his own hands.

Instead, Nigel Gaisie said any differences with the church should have been addressed in court rather than through actions that could tarnish its reputation.
“He wasn’t fair to the body of Christ. I’m privy to a lot of things he was about to do, which didn’t come out. Because of where I stand, I can’t bring them out unless I’m pushed to do so. And if that happens, nobody in the world would have gone to church again.
“If somebody has broken the law, you are a big person. At that time, the NPP was in power. Let national security or the security apparatus handle the person and deal with the issue. We are not in a jungle where it is the rule of men; it is the rule of law. It is not the sentiments of men that rule, but the rule of law,” he added.
