Ghanaian preacher Prophet Nigel Gaisie has reportedly expressed his happiness following a recent U.S. court ruling in favor of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

This revelation was made by the leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim during a sermon.

According to Bishop Obinim, he received several calls from Gaisie after the verdict, during which Gaisie shared his bitterness towards Agyapong and vowed never to forgive him.

“He told me that because of what Kennedy Agyapong has put him through, no matter what Kennedy Agyapong goes through, he will never forgive him,” Obinim told his congregation.

This comes after Kennedy Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central and a 2024 presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was sued by Anas in New Jersey over defamatory comments made during an interview with a U.S.-based Ghanaian blogger.

In the interview, Agyapong labeled Anas with terms such as “liar,” “thief,” “murderer,” and “blackmailer.”

The Essex County court in New Jersey ruled in Anas’ favor, awarding him $18 million in damages.
