Manchester United legend Nicky Butt has been given a police caution after head-butting a security guard at his 50th birthday party, a report has claimed.
Butt is alleged to have attacked the guard during the event at Soho Farmhouse near Great Tew, Oxfordshire in January – leaving him with a suspected broken nose.
Initial reports claimed an assault had taken place during the bash but Butt has now been revealed by The Sun as the individual responsible.
He is said to have agreed to make a donation to charity.
Butt held the lunch on January 24, three days after turning 50.
David and Victoria Beckham were in attendance, as were Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, accompanied by their partners. They all left shortly after the incident.

Police launched an investigation and examined CCTV footage, and Butt is now said to have accepted the caution for inflicting actual bodily harm.
A statement from Thames Valley Police read: ‘The investigation has now concluded.
‘A man was given a caution for the offence of ABH.’
Butt is alleged to have stepped outside of the bar and urinated against a courtyard wall, leading to the confrontation with the security guard.
He is then said to have head-butted the guard, who was taken to hospital with facial injuries. The police were contacted at 9.15pm, two hours after the incident.
A source told The Sun: ‘There was blood everywhere. People were shocked as the guard came inside with his face a mess. It ruined a lovely day.’
The same outlet claim the guard took time off work to recover and provided a statement to the police. He has since returned.
A police spokesman previously confirmed: ‘An assault at a business premises in Great Tew was reported to Thames Valley Police at about 9.15pm on January 24.
