    Black Stars defender, Nicholas Opoku produced a standout performance as Kasimpasa secured a hard-fought victory over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

    Kasimpasa staged a comeback in the second half to win the game 2-1 to move out of the relegation zone on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the GAİN Park Stadyumu

    in Alanya.

    Nicholas Opoku was a constant presence at the back, helping his team maintain composure under pressure and launching key attacks from defense with long decisive balls.

    The 28-year-old Ghanaian defender played the entire duration of the game and was rated 7-0 after his team’s victory.

    His defensive solidity, combined with his ability to drive the ball forward, made him a standout figure in Kasimpasa’s lineup.

    Opoku had 33 touches in attacking transition, 22 accurate passes and 8 clearances to help his team defend.

    He featured in 27 of Kasimpasa’s 34 Super Lig matches, missing only seven games due to suspensions and injuries. This makes him the most consistent Ghanaian defender in Europe this season, regularly logging significant minutes for his club.

    Kasimpase’s next game in the Super Lig will be at home against Basaksehir on matchday 14.
