Reliable Holy Stars center-back Moses Author has expressed satisfaction after their pulsating goalless draw against Vision FC in a thrilling round 27 clash of the Ghana Premier League at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park.

The Holy Stars captain led by example on the day and was adjudged Man of the Match following a solid performance as his side earned a valuable point away from home.

It was a tightly contested game with both teams showing good composure on the ball, but clear-cut chances were limited, resulting in a stalemate at full-time.

Author praised his teammates for executing the game plan and maintaining discipline throughout the match. “I will thank my teammates because we did exactly what our technical team worked on in the training. We came into the game with the mindset of not losing. I think taking one point on the road will boost our energy and help us win our next home match. So, for me, I think we have done very well taking a point here today,” he said.

The result sees the Green-Blacks climb to eighth position on the table with 37 points, as they continue their steady run in the league.

Basake Holy Stars will now turn their attention to their next fixture where they host Karela United, aiming to build on this result and secure maximum points at home.
