The NFL is reportedly looking into the moment referee Adrian Hill exploded at Minnesota Vikings star Eric Wilson after a nasty collision with the 230lb linebacker.
Hill found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time during the first half of the Vikings’ clash with the Dolphins on Sunday.
As Wilson attempted to pressure Miami quarterback Malik Willis, he was inadvertently shoved into into the veteran referee.
Hill, who is in his sixties, was sent crashing to the floor and Wilson immediately tried to help the official.
Instead, however, a furious Hill leapt back to his feet and began berating the Minnesota Vikings star.
The referee shouted at Wilson while pointing angrily in his face. Eventually, another official had to come between them and drag Wilson away and, according to ESPN, the NFL is reviewing the play.

It was not the only occasion on Sunday when a player was given an earful by an official.
In the Cardinals’ loss to the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, Arizona tight end Trey McBride offered some feedback to a referee, who then cursed him out on national television.
McBride appeared to object to a non-call from line judge Jeff Seeman during the fourth quarter and cameras showed Seeman telling McBride ‘f*** you’ multiple times.
Rather than take offense, McBride delighted in realizing that the entire exchange was captured in the CBS broadcast and began pointing to the sideline camera.
