We are just a few days into 2025 but Amerado and Medikal have launched the first beef of the year.

The Two Ghanaian rappers have clashed on X, formerly known as Twitter.
They have been engaging in back-and-forth posts for some hours now.

It all started after Amerado argued in a post that he deserves to be in the Artiste of the Year conversation of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

He wrote: Artiste Of The Year conversation without Amerado under the 2024 year of Review is an exposure of ignorance and consequently brutal to the industry and upcoming ones.”

His post was contended by Medikal, who claims to be the best rapper and highest-paid rapper in Ghana.

Medikal responded: “I fi ghost write rap for your favorite rapper and still kill am on a song, nobody de rap pass Medikal for Ghana I swear… Beyond🥷🏾”

And that’s why I’m the highest paid rapper in the country too ! https://t.co/TvGbnIvF2d

When a follower jabbed Amerado, the ‘Omo Ada’ rapper was quick to add that he was not even able to sell out a show at Lindador.

Amerado also hit back, stating that he cannot sell out the secrets of his girl. He further questioned who listens to Medikal’s rap lines in 2025.

That’s right and I nor fit sell out my girl ein secrets too sia! Tell everybody about your flopped New York show you cancelled last year Obiaa ansi hor…..2025 who dey listen to Mia me dokono? Jon https://t.co/bCTRwKokcP
