New England Patriots star wide receiver AJ Brown was seen leaving his team’s locker room in a boot after falling to the Seattle Seahawks in the opening game of the season.
According to Patriots beat writer Andrew Callahan, the pass catcher was seen in a protective boot after exiting the game with an ankle injury.
The Patriots acquired Brown in the offseason from the Philadelphia Eagles for a first-round pick in what was supposed to be a major addition for the team.
But after the game, head coach Mike Vrabel said he had no further update regarding his injury.
Brown exited the game and underwent X-Rays to examine the extent of the damage to his ankle.
Without him, the Patriots’ offense struggled as they lost 13-10 in a re-match of Super Bowl LX.
