New Black Stars Management Committee members

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has praised the newly appointed Management Committee for the Black Stars.

The committee, which includes Dr. Randy Abbey, Stephen Appiah, Moses Armah, Samuel Aboabire and Richard Nsenkyire, will oversee the Black Stars‘ administrative and logistical functions.

“We are excited to announce the formation of this new Management Committee, which brings together a team of experienced and dedicated individuals who are passionate about Ghana football,” Mr. Okraku said.

“We are confident that they will work tirelessly to support the Black Stars and ensure their success,” he added.

Dr. Randy Abbey, an Executive Council member of the GFA, will chair the committee and lead engagements with the government and other key stakeholders. Stephen Appiah, the former Black Stars captain, will serve as Vice-Chairman, focusing on player relations.

Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and a GFA Executive Council member, and Moses Armah, President of Medeama Sporting Club, will handle operations and matchday activities, ensuring that sponsors, partners, and collaborators’ interests are well managed.

Richard Nsenkyire, President of FC Samartex 1996, the current Ghana Premier League champions, will be responsible for special duties.

This restructuring is part of efforts to enhance the Black Stars’ preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Following a disappointing AFCON qualifying campaign, the team is focused on improving its performance ahead of important matches against Chad and Madagascar scheduled for March.
