The graduation ceremony took place on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the UniMAC North Dzorwulu campus in Accra, where Nene Odompleh was among hundreds of students conferred with degrees.
The media entrepreneur, who has built a reputation for innovative digital journalism and youth-focused storytelling, combined his academic pursuit with running The1957News, a platform that has become a trusted source for timely news and political content in Ghana.
In 2023, Nene Odompleh was ranked 36th on Avance Media’s prestigious Top 50 Ghanaian Bloggers list, recognition that underscored his growing influence in the digital media space while still a student.
As testament to his leadership qualities, The1957News platform was recently adjudged the News and Media Creator of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Creators Awards.
The graduation marks a new chapter for the young media personality, who is expected to further expand The1957News while leveraging his fresh academic credentials in strategic communication and marketing.
