A member of the Akatsi South Constituency Communication Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Japhet Festus Gbede, has urged Ghanaians and party sympathisers to take advantage of the party’s ongoing nationwide membership registration exercise.

In a Facebook post, Hon. Gbede described the NDC membership card as a powerful symbol of political identity and influence, stressing that it serves as a “political currency” that gives members recognition and belonging within the party both locally and internationally.

“The NDC membership card is a political currency you can spend anywhere in the world. Register now and secure your place in the movement,” he stated.

His statement forms part of efforts by party communicators to mobilise grassroots support and encourage wider participation in the registration exercise, which officially commenced on February 10, 2026, and is expected to end on March 30, 2026.

The exercise is aimed at expanding the party’s membership base, strengthening internal democratic structures, and preparing the party for future political engagements and organisational activities.

Hon. Gbede also energised party faithful and supporters with the NDC’s popular slogan, “Ele Zuuuuu,” while encouraging eligible individuals to join what he described as a strong and progressive political movement committed to national development.

The NDC has intensified its membership drive across constituencies nationwide, with party officials and communicators actively engaging communities to ensure maximum participation in the exercise.
