Owner and bankroller of FC Samartex, Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, has called for total reforms of the various national teams.

His remarks follow the Black Galaxies being held to a goalless draw in the first leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking to Asempa FM in an interview, as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com, Dr. Nsenkyire argued that even though the female national teams are doing well, the various national teams need reform.

“The various national teams need reforms. It is about doing the right things,” he said.

“Should the Black Galaxies fail to qualify, what happens to the players? For the female teams, it seems they are doing well, but the male national teams have failed, and I believe that the Executive Council is working to ensure that we perform,” he added.

The Black Galaxies will be hosted at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, December 28, for the return leg.

The winner will secure a spot in the CHAN tournament, which will be hosted in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania next year.
