An urgent call for help is being made for Ghanaian musician Barosky after media personality and radio presenter Nana Romeo encountered him living on the streets of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

Nana Romeo, who currently hosts the Ekwanso Dwoodwoo drive-time show on Okay FM, shared a video of his encounter with the once-popular musician on his Facebook page on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

In the video, Nana Romeo is seen sitting outside with Barosky at a roadside location. He revealed that the very spot where they were sitting, which is beside the roadside in a bushy area, is where the musician currently sleeps.

The interaction between the two also revealed that Barosky is currently surviving partly through the kindness of benevolent people who give him money to buy food.

The circumstances under which Barosky is living obviously bothered Nana Romeo who is therefore appealing to individuals and organisations to come to Barosky’s aid, stressing that things do not look good for the former music star.

Barosky, whose real name is Isaac Obeng Mensah, made a name for himself during the vibrant music era of the 2000s.

He was associated with artistes including Ofori Amponsah and Kofi Nti and contributed to music projects that helped establish his reputation as a talented lyrical performer.

His current situation therefore represents a striking contrast to the fame and recognition he once enjoyed in Ghana.
