After months of persistent rumours about the state of her marriage, Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama Mcbrown has finally confirmed that she is indeed divorced.

The celebrated entertainer made this revelation during an exclusive interview on TV3 New Day, where she was hosted by Cookie Tee on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

According to Mcbrown, she and her husband, Maxwell Mensah, ended their marriage after twelve years together.

While the rumours of their separation had surfaced many times in the past, this marks the first time the actress has openly addressed and confirmed the issue herself.

Speaking about the issue, the Onua Showtime host explained that the decision was not an easy one, but it was necessary and added that there is no enmity between them.

She disclosed that they remain very close, are still friends, continue to share mutual respect for each other and emphasised that her ex-husband continues to manage a lot of her businesses.

The award-winning media personality said that she only thank and bless her ex-husband for giving her a child, Baby Maxine.

Nana Ama McBrown stated clearly that she does not intend to marry again. She revealed that after spending about 25 years in the public eye as a celebrity, she has learned too much about life, people, and relationships to rush into another marriage.

She hilariously added that if she would marry again, it would be Maxwell because he does not agree with the divorce, just as his mother and other relatives.
