Background

This court appearance stems from a long-standing feud between Agradaa and Prophet Appiah Enim that dates back to 2021. The dispute escalated beyond typical online insults when Agradaa allegedly broadcast explicit private photos of the prophet on her TV station, then known as Thunder TV.

In 2022, she was arrested and charged under Section 67(1) of the Cybersecurity Act (Act 1038) for the non-consensual distribution of private images. Matters worsened in July 2024, when additional charges were brought against her for the possession and promotion of indecent material. Reports indicated that the graphic images were not only aired live but printed on labels of a herbal product, believed to be a type of bitters, which she marketed to her church audience.
