Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has opened up on the numerous challenges, which, according to him, began after winning the “Best Dressed Female” award.

Taking to his Instagram, Bobrisky expressed his frustration, stating that his troubles started the moment he received the N1 million cash prize.

Earlier in March 2024, Bobrisky claimed the Best Dressed award at the “Best of Two Worlds” movie premiere, an event that saw other notable female celebrities, including Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, and Sola Sobowale, in attendance.

This development sparked mixed reactions online, with scores of individuals, including other celebrities, condemning it.

Since then, Bobrisky has been embroiled in several scandals, including being jailed for mutilating naira notes and re-arrested about twice after finishing his jail term.

But in a recent Instagram post, Bobrisky declared that he would never accept any awards again.

Reflecting on his past experience, he wrote, “My problem started when I won the best-dressed female award with a 1 million Naira prize. If I ever see another award for ‘Best Dressed Female,’ I’ll disappear from that location ASAP.”
