Ghanaian comedian Jacinta Ocansey, popularly known as Jacinta, has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians, especially her fans, for supporting her just-ended concert.

In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb’s Isaac Dadzie at the “Jacinta the 4runner” concert, held on December 7, 2025, Jacinta noted that her success in an industry dominated by men should serve as an inspiration for young girls.

According to her, the industry is saturated with negative news reports; therefore, young girls should draw motivation from her journey.

There’s nothing wrong with men making advances at women – Jacinta

“In a world where people don’t have much to hold on to, and where there’s a lot of negative, should I say press, there are many things that don’t motivate you. I think it is good to see a young girl living her dream, admire her, and thank God for her,” she said.

Jacinta further stated that Ghanaians, especially women, should be proud of her achievements.

“You don’t have to want to be like me, but this is my journey, just appreciate it. So, I think it’s good. It’s a good form of inspiration. So, what more can we expect from the lady?” she added.
