Obaapa Christy and Nana Ama McBrown set to release new song soon

Gospel singer Obaapa Christy has revealed that she is working on a song with actress Nana Ama McBrown, which is expected to be released soon.

Speaking in an interview with Hammer Nti, the gospel artiste explained that although the song has already been recorded, it is not yet complete.

She noted that they will be meeting soon to finalise the project.

Speaking on McBrown’s talent, Obaapa Christy described the actress as a gifted woman who seems capable of excelling at anything she sets her mind to.

‘Every man out there would wish I were his wife or girlfriend’ – Obaapa Christy declares

“We’ve worked on the song; it’s in the pipeline but not fully complete yet. We’ll definitely sing it together, she has to do her part. That woman, if we leave her, she’ll end up doing everything herself,” Obaapa Christy said with a laugh.

During Obaapa Christy’s 20th-anniversary concert in 2022, Nana Ama McBrown surprised attendees with a performance that became one of the highlights of the night.

At the concert, McBrown seized the moment to showcase her versatility by performing Obaapa Christy’s hit song “The Glory.”

Before McBrown took the stage to perform the song, she shared a message about gratitude and faith, encouraging the audience to appreciate life.

‘Sarkodie didn’t ignore my calls when I needed a feature’ – Obaapa Christy

“Whenever I get an opportunity like this, I count my blessings and see the gift of life as very vital in whatever situation I find myself in. Whether good or bad, I don’t go to bed worrying about my problems because I leave them in the hands of God.

“It will take a very litigious person to have problems with me. So, if you are alive today, be grateful to God for the gift of life and leave everything else to Him because He is the one who knows tomorrow,” she said.
