Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus took the opportunity to correct a common mistake during an interview, confirming that her surname is spelled “Damasus”, “not Scus”.

In a video shared online, the actress instantly corrected the interviewer by spelling out her surname correctly in a lighthearted yet informative manner.

Damasus graciously spelled her name in letters, setting the record straight to avoid further mistakes. She said, “My name is Stella Damasus, Not Scus, there’s no C.”

Meanwhile, her bold clarification has sparked conversation among her fans, with many rejecting the change to her last name.

As admirers had come to regard her as Damascus over the years, several viewers expressed astonishment at knowing the true spelling of her last name, while others questioned how they would adjust.
